COMPONENTS OF THE HIGH INVOLVEMENT MODEL--INFORMATION

The extent to which the group:
•has the data it needs to make good decisions
•has sought input and communication from its constituent stakeholders

How many times have you been a group when someone or everyone realizes

a) they don't know;
b) they don't know what they know, or worse,
c) they don't know what they don't know?

Not having enough of or the correct information or data can torpedo the intentions of even the most positive group.  Two dimensions of issues fall under the category of Information.

DATA

Having the wrong information or not enough information will lead the group to failure.

COMMUNICATION

All too often the best efforts of a decision planning group will fail if their plans are made in a vacuum without having embedded the decision into the values and the consciousness of the organization - community .

ALC Leaders will assess your organization for its Information "health," identify the extent to which it exists among your stakeholders, and make clear, organization - specific recommendations to remediate any weaknesses your organization may have.
